ST CORENTYN’S CHURCH: A table top sale held at the village hall on Saturday for St. Corentyn’s tower fund raised £205. Priscilla Oates thanked everyone who came along and sold goods and those who brought things to raise this sum towards our target of £14,000 to re-point the tower. Jenny Smith and Sue Garner served refreshments.
WOMEN’S INSTITUTE: The AGM will be held on Thursday, February 6 at 7.15pm in Cury village hall - all welcome to come and join us.
METHODIST CHURCH: As there was no service on Sunday morning members visited Mullion for the United Service. In the evening some members went to the village hall where an ecumenical service was held with ministers from the area taking part. This was the first time this had been held and there was good support. On Sunday the family service will be led by the Rev Steve Swann at 11am.
