Morning prayer on Sunday was taken by the Rev Heather Aston. In her sermon, referring to the important information Jesus gives the disciples before He leaves them, she emphasised that we should not be afraid or worry because knowing Jesus is knowing God.
Believing in Jesus we can all do great things, remembering He is the Way, the truth and the light. Lessons were read by Pauline Arnold and the Rev Aston.
The service on Sunday will be a eucharist at 9.30am celebrated by the Rector, the Rev Lesley Walker.
