METHODIST CHURCH: Mrs S Galassini from Leedstown took the morning service on Sunday. Her husband Peter read the lesson and the offering was taken up by Christopher Trounson. Accompanist was Sybil Benney. Flowers provided by Ann Gendall.

On Sunday at 11am it will be the monthly family service with Julie Swann.

On Thursday, July 19 we will be holding our Cream Tea afternoon for St Julia’s Hospice. Donations please for the stalls, they can be dropped in at the chapel on Sunday morning or to Brenda Lawrance.

VILLAGE HALL: On Thursday, cash prize bingo at 7.30pm. Please come along, the more that come the bigger the prizes! Licensed bar, raffle and refreshments.

Events: Monday, 10am-11am, Low Impact Aerobics; 7.30pm, line dancing. Wednesday, 6.30pm-7.30pm.

Women’s Institute: Our Coffee Morning on Thursday, from 9am-11am will have bric-a-brac, cakes and produce stalls. Our next monthly meeting is on Thursday, July 5 at 7.15pm. Speaker, Lesley Robinson talking on Queen Elizabeth 1. Refreshments and raffle.
