Sunday's service for the last Sunday after Trinity, the feast of St Simon and St Jude, was taken by Father Harry Pugh and the Rev Peter Johnson.
The first lesson and the Psalm were read by Esther Brown, the second lesson by Maureen Williams and Andrew Woods was organist.
This week's services will be on Thursday at 10am (holy eucharist), Friday at 10am (requiem eucharist, commemoration of the faithful departed), Sunday at 9.30am (solemn eucharist and 6pm (evensong). Choir practice will be on Wednesday at 7.15pm.
There is a list in church for anyone who would like to add a name for commemoration on All Souls' Day.
The bacon and bap coffee morning held at the home of Maureen Williams, will follow the 10am service on Thursday of this week.
St Bart's autumn fayre and hamper raffle will be held on Saturday, November 10 in church. Various stalls, refreshments, etc. Raffle tickets are available from Maureen Williams.
