Christadelphians gathered from all over Cornwall on Saturday to witness the baptism of Sandra Bradley in Porthleven.

It was a joyous and emotional occasion conducted by Peter Kitchen and on Sunday she was welcomed into the Porthleven meeting along with her husband, Terry, and his father John who had transferred. The speaker on Sunday was Chris Tooth from Camborne and he looked at the promises about Jesus and the coming kingdom made by God throughout the Bible. The only requirement for salvation was to believe and be baptised and the perfect life and work of Jesus was to be remembered in the communion service.

After sharing tea Chris looked at the history of Israel throughout the Bible and up to the present day with all the prophecies and conflicts. He referred to many archaeological discoveries in Israel in recent years which prove the veracity of the bible. The return of Jesus to establish his kingdom is still awaited and salvation is open to all who look for it.
