Sunday's service for the first Sunday of Epiphany, celebrating the Baptism of Christ, was taken by the Rev Judy Harris.
The first lesson and the Psalm were read by Andrew Woods who was also the organist. The second lesson and the prayers were read by Phyllis Whiting. This week's services will be on Thursday at 10am (holy eucharist with Canon Malcolm Ellis as celebrant) and Sunday at 9.30am (solemn eucharist with Canon Perran Gay as celebrant). Choir practice will be on Wednesday at 7.15pm.
Anyone wishing to join St Bart's 50/50 club should please contact Maureen Williams. The annual subscription for the magazine St Elvan's Round is now due. Monies to Pete Head, please.
There is a new flower rota in church and anyone able to arrange flowers on a particular day is asked to add their name to the list.
