A group of singers from the Newquay Male Voice Choir enlivened our Christmas celebration meeting on December 10.
Their varied repertoire ranged from the divine to the ridiculous. It was all thoroughly enjoyable and was a much appreciated entertainment. We were given Cornish carols, traditional carols, Sea Shanties and during a lively rendering of Camborne Hill, one of the young men serenaded Beatrice, on bended knee!
The Droll Teller (aka Trev Laurence) made an appearance and told us two very mysterious stories. Finally the afternoon was rounded off with a lovely spread of festive food and welcome cups of tea.
