Sunday's service for the second Sunday of Epiphany was taken by Canon Perran Gay.
The first lesson and the Psalm were read by Maureen Williams, the second lesson by Colin Wroe, Esther Brown led the intercessions and Andrew Woods was the organist.
This week's services will be on Thursday at 10am (holy eucharist with Canon Malcolm Ellis as celebrant) and Sunday at 9.30am (solemn eucharist with the Ven Bill Stuart-White, Archdeacon of Cornwall as celebrant). Choir practice will be on Wednesday at 7.15pm.
Subscriptions for the St Bart's 50/50 club and St Elvan's Round are now due and monies should be paid to Maureen Williams and Pete Head respectively, please.
St Bart's is holding an "end of season sale" in church on Thursday, January 30 at 10.30am. Various stalls, refreshments, etc. Proceeds for church funds.
