Sunday was the occasion of the annual covenant service, a special event cherished and celebrated every year throughout Methodism, when members are invited to renew their covenant with God.
There was a good attendance despite the dreadful weather. Preaching on the theme of the vine, the Rev Beverly Turner stressed the importance for all Christians to abide in Christ.
The service included holy communion. Lessons were read by John and Pam Hall, David Philp was the organist.
There was no evening service this week as members of the congregation were invited to join in a Circuit United Service in Helston.
