The preacher for morning worship was Bob Markley from St Keverne, deputising for Tony Nicholas, who was still in hospital following his recent accident.
Mr Markley’s theme was the parable of the sheep and the goats told by Jesus towards the end of His ministry. Sandra Orchard led the ceremony of the Lenten Cross and David Philp was the organist.
Evening worship in the choir vestry was led by Circuit Reader Gina Varker, who presented a sermon written by the Rev Stephenson, with the intriguing title “The One-Eyed Christian”. John Gilbert was the pianist.
A very successful Spring Festival was held in the public hall on Saturday, even though the very bad weather affected the numbers attending. The amount raised will be announced at a later date.
