On Sunday we had a visiting speaker from Penzance, Pastor David Matthews along with his wife Faith.

In the evening Phil Misselbrook was our speaker, coming from Falmouth. Both brought a great blessing to the day.

This week sees the fifth anniversary of the opening of the Cellar Charity Shop, in Porthleven and everyone is invited to join in the celebration from 2pm onwards on Friday at the Apostolic Church on Thomas Street. Run by a wonderful team of volunteers, the shops motto is ‘helping people near and far’ and over the five years has been able to give away thousands of pounds to local causes and overseas, including having built an orphanage in Burma. Come along and see where we have been able to make a difference, as we thank our customers and donators for supporting us in such a fantastic way. See www.cellar.apostolic-church-porthleven.org.

The toddler group is on Thursday at 10am, evening prayer at 7.30pm, Rock Solid Kids Club 5.45pm Friday, and on Saturday at 7pm we have a Ladies Evening – a Gospel Concert with International Singer Nia - free admission.
