Sunday's service for the feast of Pentecost (Whit Sunday) was taken by Fr Peter Johnson. The first lesson and the Psalm were read by Andrew Woods, who was also the organist. Maggie Higgins read the second lesson.
This week's services will be on Thursday at 10am (holy eucharist with Fr Peter as celebrant) and Sunday (Trinity Sunday solemn eucharist with the Rev Judy Harris as celebrant). Choir practice will be on Wednesday at 7.15pm. Thursday, June 19 will be Corpus Christi and there will be a service at 7pm of solemn mass of thanksgiving with procession of the blessed sacrament and benediction, followed by refreshments.
The service on Sunday, June 29 will be a united benefice Mass at St Bart's, followed by a presentation of the new service schedule and refreshments.
