Sunday's service for fourth Sunday after Trinity (Sea Sunday) was taken by Father Peter Johnson. The first lesson and the Psalm were read by Andrew Woods who was also the organist.
The second lesson was read by Esther Brown. Following the service there was a collection for the Mission to Seafarers.
This week's services will be on Tuesday at 9.15am (morning prayer) and 10am (holy eucharist) and on Sunday at 9.30am (solemn eucharist). Choir practice will be on Wednesday at 7.15pm.
St Bart's is holding a silent auction at the home of Maureen Williams (Arcon, Sunset Drive) at 6pm on Friday, July 25. There is no ticket charge but a plate of food will be appreciated. Items for the auction are needed please.
St Bart's summer fete will be at 10am on Wednesday, August 6 in the church. All the usual stalls including a St Bart's craft stall. Raffle tickets will be available on the day.
