President for the day on Sunday was Des Moore who welcomed visitors and the speaker, Ken Noon and his wife.

On Sunday afternoon Ken reminded us of the last verse of the daily reading from Matthew when Jesus told His followers to do all that He had commanded them. Ken suggested that the main way people could tell a Christian was by the way they loved one another. We are told that we should not love in word but in action.

If a Christian loves God then he must also love others. The true characteristics of love are listed in l Corinthians 13 where patience, kindness, generosity, humility, courtesy, unselfishness, good temper, lack of guile and sincerity are all reflected in Jesus who we remember in the communion service and we hope that Jesus can see some reflection of Himself in us.

After sharing tea Ken gave an interesting talk on the writing on the wall, which is an everyday saying taken from the book of Daniel. Ken showed some interesting pictures of Babylon and its history and the prophecies interpreted by Daniel which came true. The message on the wall can be found in Daniel chapter 3 as can the meaning of it. Daniel was promised resurrection at the return of the Messiah which is a hope that can be shared by all believers.
