President for the day on Sunday was Bob Muxlow who welcomed visitors from Seaton, Torquay, Cheshire and Middlesbrough.

Speaker in the afternoon was Roger Hosking and he considered the reality of Jesus as close and in our lives every day. The Bible speaks of Jesus on two mountain tops: on the first He was glorified in the transfiguration and on the second He was humiliated at His crucifixion. But we meet to remember that Jesus died to set us all free and his followers have the hope of the light of life in his kingdom.

After tea Roy Smith from Newquay gave a talk on what the Bible says about the Millennium. Prophecy points forward to a kingdom of stability, justice and life when Jesus returns. There are graphic word pictures of this in Isaiah and this is the great hope of all believers in salvation through Jesus.
