“Who sees anything different in You?” – the question, originally posed by St Paul to the Corinthian Church, was put to the congregation at morning worship on Sunday for their consideration.

The preacher was Elsie Balme, lessons were read by Palfrey Turner and Margaret Notley: David Philp was the organist.

In the afternoon there was a session of “Room with a View”, where members and friends are invited to meet for a topical discussion before tea is served. This week’s subject, led by the Rev David Pountain, was The Environment: our relationship to it and our responsibility for it. The discussion was based on readings from the Book of Genesis.

The afternoon theme was continued at evening worship, which was led by the church stewards, but included an open forum for the congregation to join in. John Gilbert was the organist.
