Sunday's services were presided over by the Rev Danny Reed. They began with early morning communion and were followed by a special service welcoming Wesley Bowden and Alan Atkins into membership.

Mr Reed spoke of the important part Angels played in the gospel accounts of the birth of Christ and invited the congregation to share any Angel experiences they had encountered.

The candles for the third Sunday in Advent were lit by Margaret Eva and Pam Larkin. David and Andy Wingham provided the musical accompaniment.

Our next service on December 22 will be a short 30-minute family service followed by a pasty lunch and craft activities for children, then at 5.30pm we will have a modern Nine Lessons and carols, followed by mince pies. As always, visitors will be warmly welcomed to these events.
