Elsie Balme from Porthleven led our service on Sunday. She told the congregation how she loved history and several people agreed that it was a very interesting subject. She brought a very old history book and read a portion from it.
Her sermon was about going from the old to the new and one of the hymns was "One more step along the way" which seemed to say it all.
Birthday greetings were sung to Alfie Peacock who also received the collection with Seth Coleman. Elizabeth played the organ and Everett provided the flowers. On Friday coffee and chat will be at 10am, proceeds will be for the Bible Society.
