Sunday's reader service was led by Elizabeth Tremayne and was based on the Bible stories of David in 1 Samuel.
With the help of several members of the congregation, including six from Junior Church, Mrs Tremayne told the story of David defeating Goliath.
Readings were by Elizabeth Thorpe and Pam Larkin and the organist was Margaret Eva.
Mums, carers and tots group, Tiddlywinks meet Wednesday at 10.30am in the church. It will reconvene on March 5 following half-term. A warm welcome awaits anyone who wishes to bring their pre-nursery school child along for free tea and chat.
