Last Wednesday the monthly coffee morning was held at Glendale Carleen the home of Ruth and Barry Williams and £63 was raised for church funds.
The first three raffle winners were Barbara Tripp, Joan Fletcher and Peggy Mildren. The Half-an-Half winners were Tony Treglown, Lillie Thomas and Fran Stacey.
On Sunday, Low Sunday, the sung eucharist was conducted by the Rev John Palmer, lessons were read by Ruth Williams and Elizabeth Schofield. Esther Brown was the organist. In the evening there was an Easter carol service consisting of hymns and readings. Readers were Esther Brown, Lucy Matthews, Ron Mildren and Elizabeth Schofield. Esther was also the organist.
