The celebrant and preacher at the morning service on Sunday was the Rev Peter Bradford.
Jenny Haywood read the epistle, Mr Bradford read the gospel, Ray Spencer led intercessions, Henrietta Sandford and Bevan Osborne presented communion elements and Anne Veneear was the organist. Philip Warren rang the bells before the service and Max Barnett rang the Sanctus Bell. Sidesman was Philip Haywood ably assisted by his granddaughter Thea and her younger brother.
Philip Warren with help served coffee after the service.
In the afternoon Ruan Jack Samuel Kellow was baptised by the rector, Canon David Miller.
On Sunday, the Day of Pentecost or Whit Sunday, there will be a service of holy communion at 10.30am, not morning prayer as printed on the pew slip.
