As it was our Sunday school anniversary the young people and teachers conducted the service.

Joanna Alker introduced the items and organist/pianist was John Gilbert. The five hymns were chosen by Tracie Haslam who researched their history which was very interesting. Magnified pictures were passed around two groups which proved to be difficult but enjoyable.

Joanna commented, on the whole do we look closely at ourselves and do we portray ourselves as Christians to other people. The young people gave a variety of items including musical, poems and readings. Everyone was handed a piece of paper shaped like a hand and asked to write on it who and what they would like to pray for. Kevin Mosley, vestry steward put it all together in a prayer.

The stand which the chapel exhibited in Helston some weeks ago was on show for everyone to see.

Coffee and biscuits were served at the close of the service by Vera Hill and Maureen Jenkin.
