The celebrant and preacher at the morning service of holy communion to celebrate Pentecost on Sunday was the rector, Canon David Miller.
The epistle was read by Janet Parker, Canon David read the gospel, intercessions were led by Bevan Osborne, Carol Bryans and Philip Haywood presented the communion elements, sidesperson was Clare Loveday and the organist was Anne Veneear.
On Sunday, Trinity Sunday, the celebrant and preacher will be Mr Miller.
On Sunday, June 29 the Rev Jane Bradbury will celebrate the eucharist for the first time following her ordination in Truro Cathedral on the previous day at 10.30am. All are welcome at the service in the Cathedral. A joint service will be held at Helston on the Sunday, there will not be a service at Wendron. The service will start at 10.30am and will be followed by a parish lunch.
Everyone is invited to the service and if you wish to donate a plate of food, lists are available in Wendron and Helston Churches, or speak to Bevan at Wendron or Janet Jones at Helston.
