Sunday morning local arrangement worship was led by the stewards, with the theme of “The Body”.
Richard Curnow read from 1 Corinthians chapter 12. Keith Carter led a quiz on the bones of the body and then spoke about Jesus having a human body just like ours, needing care and training. He said that we each have a part to play in the body of the church and at times we all need care and prayer.
Elizabeth Thorpe spoke about seeking God’s will as to where He is leading us. We are all valued as the Body of Christ. Prayers were led by Ruth Drew and Elizabeth Thorpe. Nicole Hale was the pianist with Ben Reed and Matt Wingham on drums, Andy Wingham on cornet, Tim Wingham on guitar and Lydia Curnow was the vocalist. Colin Combellack operated the computer.
Coffee was served in the hall after the service.
