The chapel was full for the Harvest celebrations on Sunday. The Rev Steve Wild was the preacher in the morning, he had the children taking part in his puppet show and between them they acted out the story of "The Prodigal Son".
We were very pleased to welcome the Young Farmers Club, some also took part by reading lessons. Elizabeth Tremayne played the organ.
Songs of Praise at 6pm was led by Donald Hearn with Ivy Johns playing the organ. Donald had pictures on the screen showing different aspects of harvest which was extremely interesting and yet again there was a good congregation. The chapel was very tastefully decorated.
On Monday we had our Harvest Supper and sale of perishable goods, with all the non-perishable goods being given to the Helston Foodbank.
Next Sunday’s service will be led by Mr Jasper.
