The celebrant at the morning service on Feast Sunday was the rector, Canon David Miller. The preacher was the curate, the Rev Jane Bradbury, who also read the gospel and led the intercessions. Janet Parker read the epistle, communion elements were presented by Clare Loveday and Janet, sidespeople were Philip Haywood and Isabel Osborne, organist was Anne Veneear and Max Barnett rang the Sanctus Bell.
After the service a large number of the congregation and friends met in the school for a parish lunch organised by the ladies of the church.
On Sunday the celebrant and preacher at the service of holy communion will be the Rev Jane Bradford.
On November 9, Remembrance Sunday, the service will start earlier at 10.15am and will be led by Canon David Miller.
