Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is delighted to announce that their upcoming Moonlight Memory Walk has the support of media partners Packet Media and Pirate FM both of which are helping to spread the word about the evening.

The five mile ladies-only sponsored walk is happening in Falmouth on October 3 and is going to be a very special event. Ladies will be walking to remember their loved ones and also celebrate their precious memories. This is the seventh year the event has happened in Falmouth and the team at CHSW hope that not only will many ladies return but also that the walk will attract new supporters of the charity.

Neil Caddy, Breakfast Show presenter from Pirate FM is looking forward to being there on the evening. He said: “Once again Pirate FM is thrilled to be a media partner for the Moonlight Memory Walk. Being a truly Cornish broadcaster we do everything we can to support local causes, our relationship with Children's Hospice South West goes back over some years, but even after all this time we still feel more proud with each event. On a personal note, I can't wait to be there to host the evening - what man wouldn't want to be out on a Saturday night with hundreds of ladies?”

If you haven’t signed up already it is a very simply online process, just visit www.chsw.org.uk/moonlight to register. Any ladies over the age of 14 can join in the event. Registration costs just £10 and walkers are encouraged to raise as much sponsorship as possible.

CHSW supports children with life limiting illnesses who sadly will not live to adulthood. Through their three hospices in the south west including Little Harbour in St Austell they provide respite and palliative care as well as end of life care and bereavement support, caring and supporting the whole family including siblings and parents.
