Construction green shoots as Truro architectural firm doubles staff
A Truro based architectural firm is bucking the trend after taking on seven new new members of staff over the last two months.
The Truro based practice now employs 19 people.
Managing Director Justin Dodge: “CSA has seen a 99% success rate in converting planning applications to permissions over the past two years and we are building more schemes now than ever before. Projects that have been stalled are starting to move and we are being approached for many more new commissions, due to our reputation, capabilities, added value and quality of service.
"It’s vital for us to expand our resources, so that we can continue to provide the best quality of service for all our projects. I am thrilled to be in this position - employing more high quality staff shows that there is light at the end of the tunnel for the Cornish construction industry.
" Architects are always at the forefront of the construction process, so our recent upturn bodes well for the whole of Cornwall’s construction industry.”
Four new Architectural Assistants have joined CSA: Simon Bird from St Austell, Lynsey Smith from Penryn, George Lewis and Lawrence Sly who are both from Truro.
Darren Nock from Liskeard has also joined as CSA’s new architectural technician. To support the growing team CSA have appointted a full time personal assistant Sarah Rowe and part-time accountant Sharon Struminski, who both live in Truro.
