A Polish truck driver has been charged with a number of serious tachograph offences following a random roadside check on the A30 at Fraddon.
Piotr Pawel Wojcik, aged 51, was stopped on Tuesday during a joint police and Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) operation.
His vehicle and records of work were examined and found to be wanting, so he was arrested and detained at Camborne Police Station.
Following interview, he was charged with using a forged drivers card, failing to take sufficient daily rest, dangerous driving and using a magnet to falsify, alter, destruct or suppress data storage.
He has been bailed to appear before magistrates on November 29.
