Wherever you live in Cornwall, there's a chance to celebrate Christmas with the junior branch of a countywide wildlife trust this month.
This Saturday Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s Five Acre reserve in Allet, near Truro, will play host to Father Christmas at his grotto in the woods.
Visitors can visit the trust’s very own green Father Christmas from 11am to 4pm and make their own environmentally-friendly festive decorations.
A £5 donation is required for everyone wanting to visit Santa and bookings can be made on 01872 273939.
If you can’t get to Truro, the trust’s Fox Club branch is also running Christmas decoration workshops in Falmouth and Calstock on Saturday, December 15.
These are donation-only events and run from 10am to 12pm in Calstock and 11am to 4pm in Falmouth.
