After a two-week respite, stormy weather looks set to return to Cornwall at the end of the week.
The Met Office has issued an early warning for heavy rain this Friday. The national forecasters have warned of possible flooding and disruption to travel.
The yellow warning has been issued to cover the period from 12.05am to 9pm on Friday.
A statement issued reads: “Heavy rain is expected to spread northeastwards during Friday, to affect parts of both southwest England and Wales. The public should be aware of the possibility of flooding and disruption to travel.”
