A Truro company has been awarded funding to develop an animation about its cartoon character mascot.
Dopey Dinosaur is among 13 small businesses in England with a creative and digital background that been given money through the Digital Champions awards.
These are managed by Creative England, a national agency that invests in and supports creative ideas and businesses in film, TV, games and digital media.
Dopey Dinosaur creates content that can be used in a variety of ways, such as in books, websites and in animations.
It plans to use its cartoon character mascot, also called Dopey Dinosaur, in a new series of books for the Nook tablet e-reader, as well as turn the stories into an animation pilot.
