A young motorcyclist who died in a crash at Carnon Downs at the weekend has been named.
Mark Stewart Robinson, aged 21, of St Agnes was pronounced dead at the scene after colliding with a lorry on Bissoe Road.
A fire engine from Truro, rescue tender from Camborne, the police and ambulance service were all called out to the accident at 3.25pm.
The road, which runs between Carnon Downs and Bissoe, was closed for approximately eight hours following the smash.
Police officers are still appealing for any witnesses to the crash to contact them on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 493 of 26/01/13.
