Police investigating the death o a man found dead on Perranporth beach have released a video of his brother asking for help solving the mystery surrounding Alan's death.

The brother of Alan Jeal has appealed to the public for information in an interview which police have released today.

Derek Jeal described Alan as a man who never really went far from Cornwall and as someone who loved the outdoor life, particularly surfing when he was younger in the Polzeath area.

He describes uncertainties in what happened to Alan which are stopping his family from finding any closure surrounding his death.

In the interview he acknowledges that Alan was seen talking with people in Truro on the evening of his disappearance and appeals in particular to anyone who may have spoken to Alan in the Truro area on the evening of Monday 24 February.

Mr Jeal added that it would be tremendous if people with any information would come forward and assist the investigative team.
