Part of the roof of Truro Magistrates Court has collapsed, prompting the closure of the court for the rest of the day.
Court staff have yet to comment on the situation, or confirm which part of the building has been affected.
However, it is known that cases scheduled for today have either been cancelled or transferred to its sister court in Bodmin.
The Packet is expecting an update in due course.
