UPDATE: The possible witness has been identified by the police. 

Police have issued images of a potential witness they wish to identify in an attempted murder investigation.

The Major Crime Team is continuing to investigate the shooting of a woman in Millendreath, Looe which is believed to have taken place in the early hours of the morning of Monday, September 29.

This has resulted in a serious head injury of a 57-year old-women from Millendreath who is seriously ill and continues to be treated in Derriford Hospital.

Three people have been arrested this week in relation to this shooting but none have been charged at this time.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone who may have information about this incident.

In particular the police would like to speak with a man who was seen to be walking a dog at approximately 6.11am on Monday, September 29 near Millendreath car park.

Police would like to speak to him as a potential witness.
