Police have identifed a potential witness in an attempted murder investigation following the shooting of a woman in a Cornish car park.

The major crime team is continuing to investigate the shooting of a woman in Millendreath which is believed to have taken place in the early hours of the morning of Monday, September 29.

This has resulted in a serious head injury of a 57-year old-women from Millendreath who is seriously ill and continues to be treated in Derriford Hospital.

Three people have been arrested this week in relation to this shooting but none have been charged at this time.

Police are still appealing for witnesses and anyone who may have information about this incident.

In particular the police sought a man who was seen to be walking a dog at approximately 06.11hrs on Monday, September 29 near Millendreath car park.

He has now been identified.
