The Eden Project in Cornwall will host painted bodies among the biomes as the location for the fifth annual 'International Body Painting Festival'.

During the event, which takes place on October 10 and 11, 2015, body painting artists from around the world will be competing to create the most spectacular creations. There will also be exhibitions and demonstrations taking place around the site on the Sunday themed around the exotic surroundings of the Eden Project.

BodyFactory was set up by Nicola Langridge and her husband Pete, following a small gathering of local painters in Cornwall in 2010. The event has kept on growing ever since and the move to Eden is hoped to inspire even more people to take part.

Nicola said: "BodyFactory is now approaching its fifth consecutive year and has become a recognised event across the body painting industry. We are constantly expanding and evolving the event and are proud to be in partnership with the globally renowned Eden Project, providing an exceptional backdrop to the colourful and artistic world of body painting."

Tickets for artists cost £80 and tickets for models cost £40. This includes entry to Eden and competitions on both days, as well as an awards and celebration dinner on the Saturday evening. There will also be professional photographers on site all weekend to capture all of the artists’ work.

All of the BodyFactory activities during the weekend will be included in the standard admission price.
