Perranporth will come alive with music and dance this October as over 300 performers from Cornwall, Brittany, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and the Isle of Man arrive for Lowender Peran: Cornwall’s annual festival celebrating Cornish culture and its Celtic connections.
Taking place from October 15 to 19 there will be colourful street dancing, take part in the Family Ceili, family crafts session as well as Celtic storytelling.
Dance the night away with popular local party band Lost in Space, |followed by a Covers Ceili with Scottish party animals Tour Bus Fortune.
Join organisers on the beach to blow out the cobwebs for Cornwall’s one and only beach ceili on Sunday, October 19.
The festival will also welcome BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominees Jim Causley and piping legends Ross Ainslie and Jarlath Henderson.
