Police are seeking the public’s to help identify a man in connection with a serious assault which left a Newquay man with a serious facial injury.
Officers were called to East Street around 3.40am on Sunday 3 August after the 32-year-old victim was assaulted by another man.
The victim, who is from Newquay, was punched twice in the face causing a nasty cut above his eye which required 18 stitches during hospital treatment. The offender ran off shouting further abuse after committing the assault.
Police have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the assault and are asking the public to contact them if they recognise him.
