Daniel Anthony Catlow, of Carnon Crescent in Carnon Downs, was sentenced to six weeks in prison, which was suspended for 12 months, after he admitted two charges of stealing meat and alcohol worth a total of £84.47 from Pooleys Costcutters in Illogan.
Magistrates in Truro also ordered Catlow, 30, to pay a victim surcharge of £80, £85 towards prosecution costs and £84.47 compensation.
