A dog is safely in the care of the RSPCA after being pulled from a clay settling tank at St Dennis on Friday.
A crew from St Dennis Fire Station, special water rescue crews from St Austell and a rope rescue crew from Bodmin were called out to Trerice on Saturday afternoon.
Crews used mud mats to get to the dog; and the water rescue team then stabilised the dog, who was rescued by crews. The dog was then put into the care of the RSPCA.
