Five firefighters from Truro were called out a to a chimney fire involving a wood burner in Greenbottom on Saturday.
When the crew arrived just before 5pm they found that the fire involved logs which had been stacked too close to the outside surfaces of the wood burner and caught alight due to contact with the burners hot sides.
Firefighters removed the burning logs and used buckets of water to damp the area down.
