Firefighters were called to the Royal Cornwall Hospital on Saturday after a report of a car on fire.
One appliance from Truro was mobilised just after 4pm after several calls were received from the public.
When the crew arrived they found one car "well alight" with the flames spreading to another vehicle.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fires using two high pressure hosereels.
The cause was accidental.
