Young Truro performers will be pursuing their West End dreams at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London later this month.

On Sunday, March 22, pupils from Stagecoach Theatre Arts School in Truro will join others from across the country to give a show-stopping performance of What for a shillin’ at the iconic West End theatre.

Students from 17 Stagecoach schools around the country will take to the stage, treating the audience to a range of theatrical and musical pieces. The programme will include numbers from the soulful musical, Blues Brothers and classic hits from the enchanting show, Wicked.

Stagecoach Theatre Arts School Truro principal, Eily Tatlow said: “So much hard work has gone into making this show a success! I cannot wait to see the audience’s reactions to such a variety of acts.

“Her Majesty’s is an exciting venue for our students to perform at as it gives them a taste of West End stardom. They can have the chance to showcase all their hard work so far this year and we couldn’t be more proud of them.”
