Those with a love for ‘back in the day’ are in for a treat as Roni Size, a "true pioneer" of the drum and base genre, plays The Watering Hole in Perranporth this Good Friday.

The Bristol based producer/dj is considered one of the most innovative, and successful artist born out of the scene. He came to prominence in 1997 as the founder and leader of Reprazent, a drum and bass collective. That year they won the Mercury Prize for their album New Forms.

This year has seen Roni bring back the full Reprazent live band, with sell-out dates worldwide and new music in the works.

Good Friday, April 3, will be a rare opportunity to catch this iconic figure behind the decks in an intimate surrounding, and will be joined on stage by award winning MC and solo artist Youngman.

Support on the night comes from local duo Sinprint, who have recently signed to Sigma’s Life Recordings label, as well as gaining plays on Radio 1 and 1xtra.

Doors: 9pm - 2am Tickets from £8 available from Fatsoma.com, and The Watering Hole website. Over 18’s only.
