Twelve native broadleaf trees have been planted on the central reservation at Treyew Road in Truro thanks to Cormac's trees and landscaping team and a group of volunteers.

Richard Argall, Truro City’s tree warden and curator of Truro’s 'urban arboretum', planned and led the planting day, with help from CORMAC, Truro in Bloom, volunteers, Cornwall Council’s Forestry officer and Truro City Council’s landscaping staff.

The planting scheme comprised of twelve native broadleaf trees, including Lime, Oak, Field Maple and Rowan.

The trees are aimed at providing shade to the travelling public, and a corridor for wildlife venturing into Truro.
