Police would like to speak to the driver of a white van, and any witnesses, after a quad bike rider was seriously injured last the weekend near Bodmin.

At around 6.30pm on Sunday, March 22, a member of the public discovered a red Honda quad bike lying on its side on the B3314 between Pendoggett and St Teath.

Its rider, a local man in his late fifties, was found lying in the road having suffered serious head injurie.

He was taken to Derriford hospital by Sea King helicopter where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

A van, similar to a large Ford Transit, was seen travelling on the B3314 towards Delabole at around 6.15pm.
