Changing Brands and St Austell-based Parc Signs have been contracted to deliver the much awaited Newham BID signage project.

After a highly competitive tender process, the two companies will deliver vital way finding and promotional signage across the Newham and The Port of Truro area over the next year.

Alan Treloar, director of Vickery Holman and chairman of the Newham BID signage committee, said: “We now have a strong team together to deliver the Newham and The Port of Truro signage project across the area. By the end of 2015, Newham will have had a much needed facelift, raising the whole image of the area.”

Alison Elvey, Newham BID Manager, added: “After launching our strong branding for the area last year, we are very excited to move ahead with the Newham BID Signage project which will help potential business users navigate the area as well as promote Newham and The Port of Truro to a wider audience.”

John Lowdon, of Changing Brands, said: “It's a fantastic opportunity to help improve the experience of visiting Newham and the Port of Truro. The project is the first of its kind in Cornwall and we're very proud to be involved.”

Karen Barnett, managing director of Parc Signs, added: “This is an exciting sign project that we are pleased to be involved in as it will give a real sense of identity to Newham. Whilst the design of each of the signs will be consistent across the site the technical challenges will vary, especially with some of the larger signs. We are delighted to have been recognised for our manufacturing and technical capability on this project and look forward to working with Changing Brands and the Newham BID team to deliver a quality sign scheme.”
