A total of 16 firefighters were called to Threemilestone near Truro yesterday morning (Tuesday, May 12) after smoke was seen issuing from an industrial unit near the park and ride.
Truro sent 11 firefighters on two appliances, and a further five were sent from from Redruth after a call was received at around 3.15am.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one safety jet and a thermal imaging camera to locate and extinguish the fire in the one storey building, which was out by 4am.
A fire service spokesperson said: "Crews remained on scene turning over. The cause of this fire is believed to be accidental."
